My life really started when I started studying I don't really clearly remember a thing about my nursery, Daycare or preparatory days. Even my 1st Grade to 3rd Grade years that I spend on my elementary school days, I can't remember a thing except the names of my teachers and where I studied at. I also knew few things about my childhood. Only few things about me when I was a baby, only the things that my mother, father and other relatives told me. My mother said that I was born here in the Philippines in a certain province called Aurora on the 30th day of March year 1993 which was also written on my baptismal and birth certificates. Although I wanted to share more about my youth, as I said a while ago I only knew few things about my past. Since I only started this blog right now when I am already 16 years old and I only remember few of my previous years in life.
Starting 6th Grade, the real deal on my passion for computer starts. It all started when my classmates started teaching me how to use a "certain maching with a television on it" (as I call it previously). I started playing LAN games (Internet is not yet thoroughly used that time) and started watching other games and PC users play other games. Sometime I'm being friendly with the other technicians in different computer shops and they teach me some of the techniques they know about a computer. For these reasons I became a computer literate .
When I was in the 1st year High School, Internet is mostly used from then on and different computer shops started to grow everywhere. This is the year that I started playing different online games especially MU. MU is the first only game I ever played and mastered when I was in my first year secondary education even though I don't know if MU is an acronym and if it has a meaning. In fact, I became one of the Event Masters of the said game on one of its public servers called MU Legend. From then on I called myself [EM] Pharaoh as my computer name which stands for [Event Master] Pharaoh.
It was on 2nd Year HS when I left MU Legend and focused on my studies. Fortunately, we have a subject called computer education which focuses on object oriented programming. I really learned a lot from it and I started helping my teachers with their works accompanied with computers, typing etc.
My "faculty works" mostly ended when I was in 3rd year. But this is my favorite year which I started to learn about HTML, web designing and domains. I didn't focus mostly on HTMLs
what I'm in "it" in this year was DOTA (Defence of the Ancients) and Warcraft. I really love this game because I am playing it with my friends and fortunately because of the fact that I'm doing what I love the most, it even increased my grades!
The real grade thingy started on my graduating year, 4th Year. I continued playing DOTA and explored other social sites such as Friendster and Facebook. Being a computer literate really helped me throughout my journey on my last year on high school because our subject Research II offers a certain Investigatory Project so that we can graduate our secondary education especially that it is a requirement on an exclusive Science High School. With my knowledge on HTML and web designing i thought my colleagues about these. I decided to create a converter which is badly needed on our school. These converter converts various units of measurements . With the help of my groupmates we passed our (MIP) Mathematical Investigatory Project and so we graduated in High School.
I decided to take the course BSIT or Info. Tech. but my sister and other realtives suggested that I better take up Civil Engineering (BSCE) because I will have a great future as an engineer and since I had a background on calculus when I was in HS. And I hope my computer literacy will help me on my CE course. But you see my life doesn't only circulate on computers. Please read my next post to know the journey of my life.... =)
